There's a recent report that the new 7 inch ipad release date may never exist. The rumors of the "ipad mini" are wide and rampant coinciding with the rumors of the iPad 3 coming out march 2012. The truth of the matter will not be truly known until the calendars turn to April, so until then here's the latest.

It seems ever more likely that we'll see a 7 inch ipad 3 in the very near future. In the now ultra-competitive tablet world 7 inches is the new "catch weight" or size for that matter. Similar to boxers that agree on a certain weight at which they are going to compete, the 7 inch screen will have every competing for glory.
